田中裕梨は声楽をルーツに置きながらもジャズバンドBLU-SWINGや、伊勢神宮の20年に一度の大祭”式年遷宮”演奏奉納に参加するなど多方面で活動するボーカリスト。
2008年にメジャーデビューしたBLU-SWINGのヴォーカリストとしてデビュー。インドネシアやベトナムをはじめアジアでのジャパンフェスティバルへの出演やロンドン・ロイヤル・オペラハウスのコンサートマスター“ヴァスコ・ヴァッシレフ”のバックバンドを務めるなど国際的な活動でも知られている。2016年からリリースしているシティポップ・カバーアルバム「CITY LIGHTS」シリーズは既に3作を発売、7インチレコードも即完するなどシーンの一翼を担うシンガーでもある。

Yuri Tanaka is a vocalist with roots in vocal music, but is also active in many other fields, including the jazz band BLU-SWING and participating in the dedication of the "Shikinen Sengu" ceremony at Ise Jingu, a major festival held once every 20 years.
In 2008, she debuted as the vocalist of BLU-SWING, which made its major debut. She is also known for her international activities, including appearances at Japan Festivals in Indonesia, Vietnam, and other Asian countries, and as a member of the backing band for "Vasko Vassilev," the concertmaster of the Royal Opera House in London. She is also a singer who plays a role in the city pop scene, having already released three albums in the "CITY LIGHTS" series of city pop cover albums since 2016, and her 7-inch records have sold out immediately.

「City Light」シリーズでもシティポップの絶妙なカバーを披露する田中裕梨。
サーフ・コンピ「HONEY meets ISLAND CAFE -Sea of Love 8-」収録のために選曲した今回の楽曲は、松任谷由実「真珠のピアス」（1982年）のカバー。夏らしいカッティングギターと生ブラスを強調したアレンジはオリジナルアレンジをベースにしつつ、今だから表現したい印象的な80年代テイストを存分に聴かせてくれる。サウンドプロデュースは箭内健一。田中裕梨としての「Sea of Love」参加は「雨のウェンズデイ」、「ふたりの夏物語」に続いて3度目の録り下ろし参加。

The song selected for the surf compilation "HONEY meets ISLAND CAFE - Sea of Love 8-" is a cover of Yumi Matsutoya's "Pearl Earrings" (1982). The arrangement, which emphasizes summery cutting guitars and live brass, is based on the original arrangement, but also fully expresses the impressive 80's taste that we want to express now. The sound was produced by Kenichi Yanai. This is the third time Yuri Tanaka has participated in "Sea of Love" as Yuri Tanaka, following "Ame no Wednesday" and "Futari no Natsu Monogatari".
