かぐや姫の伊勢正三、猫の大久保一久のデュオ。1975年、かぐや姫解散コンサート中に結成され、同年2月5日「22才の別れ」でデビュー。「22才の別れ」はオリコン・シングル・チャート4週連続1位を記録した。1975年6月5日「ファーストアルバム」を発売。1977、1978年には初の海外レコーディングを行い、シティーポップ史に残る名作「海風」「Moony Night」を発表した。活動期間内にシングル6枚、オリジナル・アルバム5枚を発表。

Kaze is a duo of Ise Shozo from Kaguyahime and Okubo Kazuhisa from Neko, formed in 1975 during the Kaguyahime Farewell Concert.
In the same year, the duo made a debut on February 5th with the single 22-sai no Wakare, which spent four consecutive weeks at No.1 on the Oricon Singles Chart.
Their first album was released on June 5th, 1975. In 1977, they recorded their 4th album overseas for the first time.
The two albums recorded overseas: Umikaze (1977) and Moony Night (1978) have become classics in the history of city pop.
During their career, they released six singles and five original albums.

日本からは前作「海風」と同じメンバー（水谷公生／佐藤準／武部秀明／森谷順）が参加した現地ミュージシャン（Steve Forman／Chuck Findleyなど）とのレコーディング作業は、よりポップに進化した新しい風サウンドを見事に完成させた。
風はこのシティーポップス史に残る傑作の発表を最後に活動休止期間に突入した。
名曲「月が射す夜」ほか全10曲を収録。1978年作品。

Moony Night
This album has also come back in a special 180-gram vinyl edition and is now on sale!
The 5th album by Kaze, Moony Night was recorded in LA, following the 4th album Umikaze.
The recording process with local musicians such as Steve Forman and Chuck Findley, and the same members as the previous album from Japan (Mizutani, Sato, Takebe, Moriya) added a new taste and successfully created a new Kaze sound.
After releasing this masterpiece in the history of city pop, Kaze entered a fallow period.
