ボサノヴァやジャズのエッセンスを纏った彼女の作品は、近年の世界的なシティポップ再評価の中でも、その音楽的クオリティの高さから「隠れた名盤」として熱い注目を浴びている。
Artist Profile
Following her 1988 debut with the Shigeru Suzuki-produced album Style, singer-songwriter Keiko Kimura released four solo projects before forming the bossa nova unit "Quelqu'un" with Haruo Kubota in 1991 (releasing three albums together). Infused with the sophisticated essence of bossa nova and jazz, her discography is now being hailed as a collection of "hidden gems." In today’s global city pop revival, her work stands out for its sheer musicality and timeless urban appeal.
