幼少の頃を、ブラジルのリオ・デ・ジャネイロで過ごす。
1990年六本木Paradiso、白金台Giger BarでレギュラーDJを始める。1992年、ビクターよりCDデビュー。1990年代後半はテクノハウスユニット、Kiss_O_maticとしてフロア向け作品をリリース。2000年から2004年まで、フランスのストラスブールへ渡り、フランスを学ぶ。帰国後からライヴやDJ活動を再開。
近年は、英国のNTSラジオ出演、アメリカでのカセットリリース、複数の海外アーティストとのコラボレーション制作、中国でのライヴ等、活躍の場をグローバルに広げており、2024年には北米１０か所でのツアーを成功させた。

• Spent early childhood in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
• Began DJing regularly at Roppongi Paradiso and Shirokanedai Giger Bar in 1990.
• Debuted in 1992 with Victor Entertainment.
• In the late ’90s, produced techno-house music as part of Kiss_O_matic.
• Lived in Strasbourg, France, from 2000 to 2004, studying French culture.
• Resumed live and DJ activities upon returning to Japan.
• Recently expanded her presence globally, including appearances on UK’s NTS Radio, cassette releases in the U.S., collaborations with international artists, and live performances in China.

Information
With her unique fusion of ambient techno, trip-hop, and French pop, along with a coquettish whispering voice, POiSON GiRL FRiEND is now gaining worldwide attention.
She successfully completed a North American tour with ten shows and two performances in China last year, and she has already announced upcoming tours in Europe and North America this year.
Her second full-length album, originally released on CD by Nippon Columbia in 1994, is now being pressed on vinyl for the first time.
Self-produced, this album strongly reflects her artistic identity and includes a cover of Michel Polnareff's 'Love Me, Please Love Me'.
'Ouragan' and 'Communication Breakdown' are featured in edited versions.
