2018年にシンガーソングライターユニットとして東京にて結成。
70～80年代のアメリカ西海岸の風を感じるオーガニックサウンドを現代の都市型ポップスへ昇華し、懐かしくも新しい音楽作りを心がけている。甘美な情景描写を紡いだ楽曲は、「現行シティーポップアーティスト」との評価も高い。メンバー脱退により、2023年からMasahiro (SSW / Composer / Producer)によるソロユニットとして再始動。
「アマネトリル」の由来は、日本酒の名前「天音」(音楽を聴かせて熟成させた、いわゆる音楽酒)の響きを気に入り(味も)、さらに音楽奏法における装飾音「トリル」(震音) から、心を震わせるような音楽を目指すという意図を込め、2つの言葉を並べ合わせた造語である。

They sublimate the organic sound of the 70's and 80's U.S. West Coast winds into modern urban pop music, and strive to create music that is both nostalgic and new. Their songs, which weave sweetly depicted scenes, have earned them a reputation as "current city pop artists. Due to the departure of one of the members, the band was re-launched in 2023 as a solo unit by Masahiro (SSW / Composer / Producer).
Amanetrill" was coined by combining two words: "amanetrill," which refers to the sound (and taste) of the Japanese sake "amanetrill," which is aged by listening to music, and "trill," which is an ornamental sound in music technique, with the intention of creating music that shocks the heart.
